We source through our distributor network
We check our verified network of European distribution partners for availability, indicative pricing, lead times and shipping conditions before coming back to you.
We confirm what we can before making any commitment. If we cannot confirm availability, we will tell you clearly — and in many cases, we can indicate when inventory is expected.
The distributor invoices you directly
Once you confirm the order, the distributor issues the invoice directly to your boutique.
No payment goes through Maison Modati. Your accounts reflect a clean, direct supplier relationship.

Why not go directly to the distributor?
You can — if they respond. Many European distributors don't take on new boutiques without an existing relationship or a referral. We already have those relationships. We're not a shortcut; we're a network you'd otherwise have to spend years building.
How do you make money if my boutique pays nothing?
We earn a commission from our distribution partners. It's a standard agent model — the distributor pays us a percentage on the orders we bring them. It doesn't affect your price.
Is this reliable? How do I know the provenance of the goods?
We prioritize authorised and documented supply channels. Our distribution partners provide traceable stock with commercial documentation. We do not work with channels we cannot verify — and we will always tell you if we cannot confirm availability through our network.
What protection do I have as a buyer?
Because you're invoiced directly by the distributor, your legal relationship is with them — not with us. That's a structural arrangement, not just a promise. If something goes wrong with the order, you have a direct commercial relationship to stand on.
Can I reorder without going through Modati?
Our introductions are commercial relationships, and we stay involved as your agent. If you want to discuss the long-term structure after your first order, we're open to it. Just ask us directly.
What if the brand or quantity I need isn't available?
We tell you. We won't speculate on what we can't confirm. If we can't source it at the moment, we'll say that clearly — and in many cases, we can flag when inventory is expected.
